Once booked...What happens next?

Once the course is booked you will receive joining instructions via email.

This email all provide the relevant support for course access and other essential need to knows.

What are the technical requirements?

Different courses carry different technical requirements depending on the awarding body. 

Throughout the course you will be liaising live with your tutor online, you will therefore need a good internet connection, and access to a PC, laptop, or course permitting, a device that has access to a camera and microphone to allow the interaction.

Important requirements for course delivery: 

  • Stable broadband/ internet
  • Suitable monitor/ display
  • The most recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari

TOP TIP - Not compulsory but it is highly recomended to have a second screen. This way you can scroll through the course content, simultaneously you'll be able to see your tutor and converse throughout. 

What do I need on the day of the course?

Identification

Primary idenfitication is requrired on registration of this course, please ensure this is presented on registration. Ideally in the form of a passport or drivers licence, for more information on what ID is required please enquire here 

Any thing else?

  • Pen and paper/note pad
  • Snacks and a drink
  • A comfortable and appropriate learning environment

Where is best to take the course?

The beauty of remote training is you can partake in the course wherever you wish, at work, at home, or even on the go, we do however strongly recommend the internet is consistent and the environment or potential for external distractions is considered. 

TOP TIP - A quiet room with no distractions from colleagues, pets, or children is recommended 

What happens if I'm having connectivity problems?

Providing the internet is stable there is no reason your connection will be lost.
