Alpha Safety are committed to helping our nation's military transition in to civilian occupations. As proud partners of British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) we help to support serving and ex-military personnel gain the skills they need to access civilian job roles, suitable to experience or any other chosen career path.

ReACT (Wales Only)
Welsh Governments ReAct scheme is designed to help those made redundant gain the skills necessary to seek employment in their chosen field. Alpha Safety have always been happy to accept candidates through the Welsh Government's ReAct scheme, offer flexible training programmes to ensure that candidates get the most from their funding. Please contact our Head Office to speak to one of our Customer Services Team regarding your career goals and any complementary training.
For further advice and support please also see the Careers Wales website. Careers Wales and Job Centre Plus should be your first port-of-call when looking in to ReAct Funding. They will guide you through a career action plan and offer advice relating to relevant training.
The Access funding programme is also offered by the Welsh Government for the South Wales Valleys area (Within the council authorities of Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Swansea or Torfaen). The Access funding Programme is available for those who have been unemployed for up to 2 years and are registered Jobcentre Plus.
Students could receive up a vocational training grant of up to £1,500 to help update their skills to return to work; Students could also be eligible to receive an additional grant of up to £200 of extra support to help remove barriers to vocational training such as childcare and transport.

Construction Support Groups
Alpha Safety work closely with many of the regional CITB Training & Support Groups allowing members access to professional, friendly advice and funding towards training.
Each Support Group is run by its own Group Training Officer who will help you to source the right qualifications for the job. Excellent networking opportunties are also available through monthly regional meetings where you can voice your opinions as part of the group and gather support.
