CITB LEVY
Skilled & knowledgable workers are essential to the construction industry in order to carry out operational activity safely & effectively. Under the Industrial Training Act 1982, CITB founded the Levy in order to meet ongoing demand for skilled workers in the construction industry.
WHAT IS THE CITB LEVY?
The CITB Levy is an annual subscription applicable to construction based organisations to ensure the ongoing ability to upskill and develop their workforce.
The levy is dedicated to ensuring the construction industry has the appropriate skills for current & future workforces. The levy is underpinned based on three strategic priorities:
-
Create and progress careers
-
Improve standards and qualifications
-
Support training and development
HOW CAN ALPHA SAFETY HELP YOU?
As a CITB ATO (Approved Training Organisation), we run a wide variety of construction courses in line with the agreed industry standard. Our courses are evaluated and approved by CITB to ensure we provide our learners with the essential skills and knowledge required.
If you are a Levy claiming organisation, you can provide us with your levy number at point of booking or the course attendee can input this on our delegate forms on the day of training. Once we have recieved the course outcome and your unique levy number, our team will then upload your claim to the CITB levy portal on your behalf to submit your claim.
