Fall from heights represents one of the most common causes of serious accidents that occur in the workplace, many of which involve the use of ladders. With almost all trades employing the use of a ladder at one point or another, it's imperative for operatives to understand how to use them safely.
This half day NPORS accredited course will empower students, providing them with the knowledge and competence to minimise the risk of a heights related accident and properly maintain workplace equipment.

This course is suitable for any operative, from trades to engineering, where ladders are used on a day to day basis. Looking at current legislation, roles, responsibilities, hazard perception, risk assessing, ladder inspection and modern safety methods this course will limit the liability or employers whilst, most importantly, safeguarding the health and safety of employees.
