What is the CSCS Labourer Card?

The CSCS Labourer/ green card is the essential pathway to working in construction, covering    a wide array of roles from labourers, groundworkers, site operatives and much more. Whilst it's not    a legal requirement, the CSCS labourer card has become the accepted standard when working  on site. By holding the CSCS labourers card, you're able to demonstrate to employers and your colleagues you have the relevant knowledge to operate safely on a construction site.

The CITB HS&E Operatives Test

The operatives test is made up of 50 questions, focused around five core subjects:    

• Legal & Management
• Health & Welfare
• General Safety
• High Risk Activities
• Environmental

During the test, you will get 45 minutes to answer all 50 questions.

Test Pre-Requisites & Need to Knows

To sit the CITB HS&E test you will need to provide a valid passport or UK driving licence (both of which can't be no more than 6 months out of date) in order to register the test with CITB. We also require a passport standard photograph prior to the test, which can be captured at point of registry prior to the test.
